FTCE Middle Grades General Science 5-9 Practice Test The FTCE Middle Grades General Science 5-9 is used to assess an instructor’s readiness for teaching this subject in the state of Florida, for students in grades 5-9. This computer-based test is 2 hours and 30 minutes. There are 120 multiple-choice items. Accommodations are available for individuals with conditions recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and ADA Amendments Act of 2008. Some requests do not require prior approval.
